Strengthening UTHM’s Aerospace Ecosystem through Benchmarking at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

The visit provided valuable insights into ERAU’s aviation education ecosystem, particularly its integration of academic learning, flight training, simulation, safety, and industry-oriented education.

We also had the opportunity to explore the F30 Eagle North Training Facility and Eagle Main Complex, and to learn how aviation training and flight operations are managed at a leading aeronautical university.

The experience offers important lessons for the development of UTHM Aerospace Technopark @ Tanjung Laboh, particularly in designing practical, industry-driven aerospace education and training programmes.

A meaningful visit, valuable insights, and another step towards strengthening UTHM’s position in aerospace education in Malaysia and the region.
