Saudi’s Midana Unveils New Target Drone Design
A new stealthy-looking, high-speed target drone has been unveiled by Saudi company Midana at this week’s World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Flying at speeds up to Mach 1, the Razor 100 simulates stealthy platforms.
“We will use it to test and validate the accuracy of radars–to find out what they really can do and not just what the manufacturer says it does. It will also be used to test pilots in training against ‘Red Air’ threats,” a Midana spokesman said.
The Razor 100, developed in partnership with Spanish company Sener, has made one test flight to date. The next one expected in April will include any adjustments to the system.
Midana, which was founded two years ago, owns around 20 drone targets of varying sophistication that are displayed in the Unmanned Systems Zone at the show.
