FDH Aero, GKN Forge Long-term Partnership

FDH Aero signed a long-term supply agreement with GKN Aerospace this week during the Farnborough International Airshow. The agreement increases a strategic partnership between the companies, providing a framework to streamline supply-chain operations.

Under the agreement, FDH will provide hardware, C-class commodities, and value-added services to GKN Aerospace. The agreement further expands their partnership globally, supporting GKN Aerospace’s operations for the years ahead.

“This supply agreement with FDH Aero marks an important step forward as we continue to optimize and strengthen our global supply chain,” said Alex Halsey, global commodity manager for GKN Aerospace. “Establishing this foundational framework allows us to commit to growing our relationship globally, ensuring our facilities have the reliable, long-term support they need to meet the demands of the modern aerospace market.”

The agreement will enable a more efficient and responsive aerospace supply chain, added Fred Short, chief growth officer at FDH Aero’s hardware division.
