Apace 2026 showcases latest aviation, aerospace technologies in Kuching
KUCHING (Jan 27): The Asia Pacific Aerospace Conference and Exhibition (Apace) 2026 features a dynamic exhibition showcasing aerospace and aviation technologies at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) here.
Running from Jan 27 to 29, the exhibition brings together key industry players and agencies, including AirBorneo, Airbus, AIROD, APR — Aviation Training Centre, Business Events Sarawak, Billion Prima, Business and General Aviation Association of Malaysia (Bagam), Dviation Group, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), Measat Global Bhd and the National Aerospace Industry Corporation (Naico), among others.
The event also sees strong participation from education, skills and talent development institutions such as Centre for Technology Excellence Sarawak (Centexs), Curtin University Malaysia, i-CATS University College, Sarawak Skills, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus and University of Technology Sarawak (UTS).
A highlight for registered delegates is Forum Discussion 2, titled ‘Aerotropolis: Design and Development of Airports’, focusing on the new Kuching Airport Aerotropolis as a driver of Sarawak’s economic growth.
The forum features panellists including MAHB chief information officer Vijaykumar Dayinde and Invest Sarawak Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Timothy Ong, with moderation by Netherlands Airport Consultants region manager Joeri Aulman.
Members of the public, industry professionals and students are encouraged to visit the exhibition to explore career pathways, emerging technologies and business opportunities within the aerospace and aviation sectors.
Organised by Borneo Business Connect Sdn Bhd, Apace 2026 is an inaugural event hosted by the Sarawak Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development.
