About the job

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Ensure that all receivable and payable related transactions are appropriately verified and captured in accounting software

  • Ensure that all documents and records are filed and stored securely

  • Handling monthly accounts closing activities including the preparation and processing of the month-end and year-end journals.

  • Assist in the production and submission of periodic analyses and reports as well as account reconciliations.

  • Liaise with banks, auditors, company secretaries, tax agents and relevant authorities.

  • Carry out any ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Qualifications

  • Professional certificate, diploma or degree in accounting, finance or equivalent

  • Candidates currently pursuing their professional qualifications may also apply

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Familiar with use of accounting software and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application

  • Good Microsoft office suite
