About the Role:

As a CAD Engineer at Meraque, you will play a crucial role in the research, design, and development of our new robotics products, contributing your expertise in electrical and mechanical design and engineering. You will be responsible for supporting the evaluation of emerging technologies and implementing finished products. Working closely with a team of technical professionals, you will apply your CAD-based design knowledge and skills to various engineering projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical and mechanical design, engineering, testing, and installation support of wiring harnesses.
  • Select appropriate connectors, determine wire gauge sizing, and create detailed assembly drawings and parts lists.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of technical professionals to support day-to-day operations and contribute to the company’s forward-thinking goals.
  • Utilize CAD hardware and software to create and modify detailed drawings, sketches, and layouts.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of drawings to ensure adherence to industry standards and company design philosophy.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure model accuracy, adhere to drafting standards, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with application engineers, sales engineers, and manufacturing teams to design solutions aligned with product requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of proven experience in industrial CAD engineering roles.
  • Expertise and proficiency in utilizing advanced CAD software, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • In-depth understanding of engineering principles, including mechanical and electrical design concepts, and their practical application in product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and comprehend intricate mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Impeccable attention to detail with a relentless commitment to delivering precise and high-quality work within established timelines.
  • Track record of consistently adhering to project schedules, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely.
