PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities of Position:
Operation of highly technical equipment.
Load and unload furnaces per production and quality requirements.
Proper and efficient material handling to ensure product traceability to meet quality and scheduling demands.
Monitor equipment and record data to document the manufacturing process.
Troubleshoot manufacturing anomalies related to equipment operation, productivity, and quality.
Perform preventive maintenance as required to meet maintenance schedules.
Adhere to required housekeeping requirements for the manufacturing areas.
Submit and support continuous improvement ideas in order to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Follow all procedures administered by safety, quality, process engineering, and facilities engineering.
Train co-workers in proper equipment operations and maintenance procedures.
Adhere and actively participate in occupational safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and activities such as I-See I-Act, GPI, etc.
Perform other related duties as required.
Experience/Education Required:
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), or equivalent.
Able to communicate in spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in using electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
Basic understanding of Statistical Processing Control. Training in various principles of lean, i.e. lean manufacturing, TPM, 5S preferred.
