Skyways Technics is currently looking for a Procurement executive to support our workshops in Kuala Lumpur, Denmark and Hungary to replenish and purchase required tooling, raw materials, services, parts, consumables, and expendables in collaboration with planning and workshop operations, The role’s focus is to ensure that workshops’ procurement requirements are met, and materials inventories are constantly replenished and kept at sufficient levels to facilitate our repair service needs, quality, and the on-time delivery to our customers, The position reports to Procurement manager and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase repair materials and tooling in support of Part-145 repair activities.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible service offerings with respect to lead time vs. price and quality.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of items.
  • Monitor all purchases to avoid any shortages, overcharges, and disruptions of the supply chain
  • Liaise with logistics for the best shipping option.
  • Manage the outsourcing of tools needing repair, maintenance, or calibration
  • Update inventory levels and ensure that stock levels are appropriate
  • Initiate stock transfers between various Skyways Technics warehouses worldwide.
  • Ensure costs remain within the set procurement budget
  • Maintain and update the supplier and vendor database
  • Assist the Procurement Manager in the evaluation of supplier and vendor performance
  • Help with the sourcing of new suppliers considering prices, lead times, and quality
  • Aid in monitoring the Moving Average Price (MAP) of purchased components, parts, materials, and consumables
  • Follow purchasing procedures and policies and ensure all transactions are documented

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree, preferable in the work-related discipline (engineering, supply chain, business or similar)
  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the MRO/Aviation industry.
  • Good English skills both spoken and written.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytics, details, and action-oriented
  • Strong IT skills, especially Excel.
