AirAsia has launched a facial recognition system, joining a growing number of airline companies around the world exploring such contactless solutions in the post-pandemic world. Passengers will be able to book their flights, check-in and board at the airport all with a scan of their faces. Facial recognition will also be extended to AirAsia’s other super-app services like food orders and deliveries.
