Please be informed that, Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (MIDF), an agency of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) has been instrumental in helping local entrepreneurs with the provision of financing facilities at Government preferential rates for manufacturing and services sector.
To further assist in the adoption of digitalisation and technology, MIDF have established the Soft Financing Scheme for Digital & Technology (SFDT), primarily to encourage and increase utilisation of digital technologies among local SMEs as a means to escalate competitiveness, efficiency and marketability.
Under SFDT, SMEs will be enjoying better financing features:
- As low as 4% p.a on yearly reducing balance;
- Financing amount up to RM1 million;
- Up to 90% financing; and
- Up to 5 years repayment tenure.
